Self love is a constant work in progress. You might find yourself comparing yourself to others causing your self love to dwindle. Learning how to love yourself and be confident can be difficult if you do not know where to start. If this is an ongoing issue for you, here are 10 tips on how to love yourself and be confident.

1. High Dose of Positivity

When you wake up in the morning, start your day with positive thoughts. This can help jump-start your day and make it more productive.

I know this is difficult to do, however, know that no one can be you. You are unique so own it. You should not try to be like everyone else. It is so easy for someone to duplicate someone else’s life and even their look. There is only one you and no one can do that better.

8. Celebrate Your Wins

Did you accomplish a small feat or a big one? Celebrate it! Those small feats will turn into a great victory. No matter what part of your life, it is important for you to acknowledge your hard work. Why not throw yourself a massive party with a balloon backdrop and turn it into a black-tie event? Dressing up and celebrating with your family will do wonders for your self-esteem.

9. Meditate

Take time out to process your thoughts and what you want to accomplish in life. Silence your phone and the outside world. Concentrate on your breathing and try to clear your mind. Having a sound mind can make it easier to make difficult decisions and your next move. 

10. Be Patient

You are a work in progress and so is everyone else. You are running your own race. When you finish is entirely up to you, your dedication, and your hard work. Appreciate and nurture yourself and your self-love will increase. When you have been working so hard, it is easy to become discouraged and lose confidence. Gove yourself time to grow and your time will come. These 10 tips on how to love yourself more can be your starting point of you accepting and being proud of yourself.
